Volunteer, partner, sponsor

Every Program Exists Because Someone Chose to Help.

Healing Circles, workshops, and the Family Assistance Fund can be offered at no cost to the people who need them because volunteers give their time, partners open their doors, sponsors fund the work, and donors give monthly. Here is how to join them.

What Volunteers Do

Volunteers welcome participants at the door, set up and clear the room, help with refreshments and remembrance supplies, support registration, take photographs with permission, and help at community events. No grief training is required to volunteer; kindness and reliability are. Volunteers who want to do more can talk with Dr. Tracy about facilitator support and event leadership.

Community Partners and Compassion Partners

Churches host circles. Schools and workplaces bring in workshops and suicide prevention training. Funeral homes, hospitals, and social service agencies refer families to the Family Assistance Fund. If your organization serves people who grieve, there is a way to work together.

Compassion in Action Initiative: Helping Families Through the First Days of Loss… and Beyond

In the first days after a death, families are making funeral arrangements, managing unexpected expenses, and making countless decisions while trying to take in their loss. No family should walk that alone. Compassion Partners are businesses, organizations, churches, and community members who help carry that weight. Support may include financial contributions, in-kind donations, discounted services, gift cards, meals, floral arrangements, transportation assistance, printing services, or volunteer support. Every act of kindness matters.

Thank You for Choosing to Help

Whatever you give, time, a room, a gift, or a word to someone who needs it, reaches a person who is grieving. That is the whole point of this organization.
