Why organizations book this
Your People Are Already Carrying This
Grief and suicide are not rare events that happen somewhere else. In 2024, 48,824 people in the United States died by suicide, according to the CDC. A 2019 study in the journal Suicide and Life-Threatening Behavior estimated that each suicide leaves about 135 people exposed to it, people who knew the person. And in a 2023 CDC survey, more than two in five U.S. adults said they personally knew someone who died by suicide.
Most people never learn what to say. The 2021 Experience Camps and Harris Poll survey found that 70 percent of Americans feel they lack the skills to support someone who is grieving. Your congregation, your staff, and your students will face these moments. Preparation is the kindest thing an organization can offer them.

Three Ways to Bring Us In
Suicide Prevention Education and Awareness Presentations
QPR stands for Question, Persuade, and Refer: three steps anyone can learn to recognize warning signs, ask directly about suicide, offer hope, and connect someone to help. Dr. Tracy is a certified QPR Gatekeeper Instructor and a trained presenter of AFSP’s L.E.T.S. Save Lives™ program, and she teaches from her lived experience as a mother who lost a daughter to suicide. In a randomized trial of 32 schools published in the Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychology in 2008, QPR training increased staff knowledge of warning signs and their confidence to act. Length is tailored to your group.
